Coil Nails Introduction
Coil nails,
also known as wire‑collated coil nails, are a series of nails welded together by copper‑plated wires and rolled into coils. They are specially designed for pneumatic coil nail machines such as CN55 CN70 CN90 CN100 COIL NAILER . Compared with loose single nails, they greatly improve working efficiency for pallet, crate and wooden construction production.
Main Types
According to shank styles, coil nails fall into three main categories:
Smooth shank: Smooth nail body, easy to drive in, for general‑purpose light‑duty wood fastening.
Ring shank: Annular rings on shank, excellent pull‑out resistance, widely used for pallets and outdoor woodwork.
Screw (spiral) shank: Spiral thread structure, maximum holding power, ideal for hard‑wood and heavy‑duty projects.
Surface finishes include bright polished, electro‑galvanized and hot‑dipped galvanized for anti‑rust options. The common collation angle is 15°‑16° to fit most coil nailers.
